A man was found guilty of contempt in a federal court for refusing to surrender 119.65 BTC subject to a seizure order.
The FBI found that this person had Bitcoin because when they seized his PC, they realized that there was

software installed and from there they obtained his public addresses.
The court ordered the seizure of the BTC on January 31, 2025.
Instead of complying with the order, the accused sent those BTC to other addresses, but since the blockchain is transparent, the government knows where they are...
The accused is DETAINED for CIVIL contempt (NOT CRIMINAL) and has an ORDER to transfer those 119.5 BTC to a wallet controlled by the government.
Each day that passes without complying with the order will result in a $10,000 USD fine.
