Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko himself emphasized that the country has a surplus of energy. Following the formation of a new government, the president stated that the next step is to make the most of the energy production capacity, ensuring that the surplus will not be wasted.

Instead, he expressed that the excess electricity will be allocated to the Bitcoin mining sector.
