Let me remind you that Gary Gensler taught a formal course on Blockchain and Crypto at an institution like MIT five years ago, and it was the best course at that time, a very pro-crypto course. The crypto community wanted this person to make policies for crypto in our country. Time changed, Gary Gensler was made the chairman of the SEC, and he created the worst conditions for crypto. Why? The order was from above to keep them in check.
What do you think, if your favorite guru was in that position, would he think well of crypto? He would only do what he was ordered from above.
It doesn't matter who is in charge, what matters is the policy from above.
We just wish Bilal Bin Saqib does not turn out to be the Gary Gensler of Pakistan.
