Pakistan's crypto landscape is taking shape
Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has appointed Bilal Bin Saqib, a Web 3 investor, as the Chief Advisor for the Pakistani Crypto Council - which is a significant step towards legitimizing cryptocurrencies and ensuring secure, compliant trading of digital assets.
With experience in learning and expertise in digital finance, Saqib will play a crucial role in shaping Pakistan's crypto regulations. This comes after proposed amendments to recognize digital currencies as legal tender a few months ago, indicating a shift in the country's stance on digital currencies.
Saqib believes that with the right strategies, Pakistan can empower its youth, promote economic growth, and emerge as a leader in the crypto space.
