04-03-25.- The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) carried out a raid in the Las Delicias sector of the Maracaibo municipality, Zulia state, where they seized 25 Bitcoin machines from a citizen, a vehicle, and two mobile devices.
According to the information, the action was carried out during patrol duties in response to a report made by the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) Zulia. The raid was conducted in conjunction with the Public Ministry.
The detained citizen was identified as Cristóbal Gabriel García Salas, who will be prosecuted for the illegal possession of mining machines.
The partial report, cited by journalist Eligio Rojas on his account on the social network X, details that the confiscated vehicle is a blue Mitsubishi Lancer, Sedan model. Additionally, notification was made to the Prosecutor's Office of the Public Ministry.
