Salinas is known for owning several companies, including TV broadcaster TV Azteca and internet provider Total Play Telecomunicaciones. However, he prefers investments in what he describes as the "hardest assets" such as Bitcoin and gold.
Additionally, Salinas announced plans to take its parent business, Grupo Elektra SAB, off the public markets. This move will allow him to manage the group of companies according to his own vision. Since only 0.3% of the company's shares are outstanding, it expects the delisting process to be completed in May.
