How Much Pi Has Been Mined, How Much Is Left, and When Will Mining End? ⏳
As of March 2, 2025, over 10 billion Pi coins have been mined, with around 6.3 billion Pi currently circulating in the network.
The total supply of Pi is capped at 100 billion coins, distributed as follows:
65% (65 billion Pi): Reserved for mining rewards to incentivize and reward network participants.
10% (10 billion Pi): Allocated to ecosystem development, supporting apps, projects, and community initiatives.
5% (5 billion Pi): Set aside for liquidity pools to help ensure trading and price stability.
20% (20 billion Pi): Reserved for the Pi Core Team, recognizing their contributions and ongoing development efforts.
Mining will continue until the full 65 billion Pi allocated for mining rewards has been distributed. The exact timeline for when mining will end depends on how fast the network grows and how active users are since mining rates adjust based on these factors. As a result, there’s no set date for mining to end — it will stop once all mining rewards have been fully mined.
