Praise be to Allah for guiding us, and thanks be to Him for what He has given us. How many blessings You have bestowed upon us, for which our gratitude is scarce, and how many trials You have tested us with, for which our patience is lacking.

Praise be to God. There is no deity but Him, the Living who does not change or die. Praise be to God abundantly, and glory be to God abundantly. He has given much good and diverted great evil from us, and He has sufficed us. He has fed us and given us drink, and from everything we asked, He has granted us. To Him be praise for what He has guided us to, and thanks for what He has given us. How many blessings have You bestowed upon us, and we have failed to thank You for them. And how many trials have You tested us with, and we have been patient through them. Our Lord, even if we have disobeyed You, we love You and hope for Your mercy and fear Your punishment. Our Lord, indeed, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive us. O Allah, have mercy on us and have mercy on our deceased Muslim loved ones. O Allah, Turner of hearts, make my heart firm upon Your religion. O Allah, forgive us. O Allah, grant us sincere repentance. O Allah, grant us a good ending. O Allah, provide us with lawful sustenance, a righteous spouse, and sincere repentance. O Allah, assist me in thanking You, remembering You, and worshipping You well.
