President Trump Announces the Establishment of a Strategic Crypto Reserve Including XRP, SOL, and ADA
After weeks of long waiting, U.S. President Donald Trump has finally decided to give the cryptocurrency industry what it has been longing for: a strategic crypto reserve.
This strategic crypto reserve will include community-favorite tokens, which is different from his first attempt at a 'digital asset reserve,' where only stablecoins were vaguely mentioned.
Trump posted today on Truth Social, stating: 'After years of corrupt attacks from the Biden administration, the U.S. cryptocurrency reserve will elevate the status of this key industry, which is why my executive order on digital assets directs the presidential task force to advance a strategic cryptocurrency reserve that includes XRP, SOL, and ADA. I will ensure that the U.S. becomes the world's cryptocurrency capital. We are making America great again!'
According to CoinGecko data, Solana, ADA, and XRP have all reacted, rising by 15%, 30%, and 20%, respectively.
