#CryptoMarketWatch White House Crypto Summit lays out Trump’s plan for greater US leadership in crypto. The Summit confirmed the creation os a US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. Michael Saylor advices to accumulate 25% of the Bitcoin Network. This week has been a most exciting week for the crypto community due to Trump’s two bullish crypto announcements. The first was Trump’s move to start a US Bitcoin Strategic Reserve, and the second is how the White House Crypto Summit lays out Trump’s plan to strengthen US leadership digital assets. The first announcement of Trump hinting at creating a US Bitcoin Strategic Reserve sent the price of BTC from $82,000 to $92,000 only to topple back to $82,000 again. This time BTC price remained steadily at the $86,000 price range in response to the announcement of the first-ever Crypto Summit at the White House.

$BTC PANews reported on March 9th, according to Bitcoin.com, that the state of Texas in the United States will create a fund managed by the state government for holding Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. The Texas State Auditor will be responsible for regulating this reserve, which will hold cryptocurrencies with a market value of at least $500 billion and is eligible to receive state budget appropriations. In addition, a Strategic BTC Reserve Advisory Committee has been established to provide guidance for managing this fund and is required to submit a report on its holdings every two years. Previously, the Texas Senate passed SB 21 bill which would allow the state to invest part of public funds into digital assets, especially Bitcoin. This bill still needs approval from the House of Representatives and signature from governor before it becomes law.
