The fact that a couple of posts on X hint that Binance will list Pi means absolutely nothing. Don't fall for fake news, better research yourself. Or wait for Binance itself to officially announce. Everything else is misinformation and fake announcements!!!🚫🚫🚫

The Pi Network community is abuzz right now, and it’s all due to a wave of tweets claiming that Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges has listed or is about to list Pi ($PI). Sounds like a big deal, right? Hold on a second, where did this claim even come from, and is it actually true?

The statement that started it all

It all started with a tweet from 'Moon Jeff,' a Twitter user with around 16k followers. He wrote: "Is this true? Binance is on the list of $PI verified businesses. If so, this is very bullish for #PiNetwork. Send $PI to $3."To back up his claim, he shared an image that allegedly shows Binance listed among the KYB-verified Pi businesses. But the image itself seems suspicious.

Soon after, another user, 'Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis' (with 13k followers), jumped in with a more dramatic take: "Binance will list Pi soon. Pi is going to the moon. Your patience is your greatest strength, Pioneers! Every step forward with Pi Network is a leap towards a brighter decentralized future. Trust the process, commit, and let time amplify your efforts."

This was also accompanied by an image showing Binance’s involvement in Pi. With these tweets gaining traction, many Pi supporters were quick to believe these claims. But are they really true?

A quick check of the information on Pi Network’s official website tells a different story, Binance is not listed as a KYB verified business. The official list of currently verified exchanges includes:

OKX

Bitget

Gate.io

Pioneer

MEXC

Binance is nowhere to be seen. This proves that the viral tweets and images are either misleading or completely fake.Social media thrives on hype, and when big accounts with thousands of followers post something, people assume it must be true. Add to that the excitement surrounding Pi Network, and you have the perfect recipe for misinformation.

The problem is that many people don't take the time to fact check, and that's how false claims spread like wildfire. Screenshots can be edited and tweets can be crafted to sound convincing, but that doesn't make them true.

The claim that Binance is listing Pi is completely false. However, this has not been confirmed by Binance or Pi Network in any way. The list of KYB verified exchanges remains unchanged and does not include Binance.

And be careful, all else equal, check with official sources before getting caught up in the frenzy. The best way to avoid getting caught up in one of these rumors is to actually stay informed in the crypto world, where “rumors” spread quickly.
