The cryptocurrency market has faced a strong decline in the last 24 hours, wiping out 5.11% of the total market capitalization. Bitcoin suffered a drop of 4%, while altcoins took a harder hit: Ethereum fell over 8% in the same period.
Among the major altcoins, Solana (SOL) and XRP have not escaped the massive sell-off, recording losses of 12% and 8%, respectively.
