The military leader of Myanmar, Min Aung Hlaing, suffered an attack on his official account on the social network X, and the attackers used the account to announce the launch of a fake memecoin, claiming it was the national cryptocurrency of the Republic of Myanmar.

Within minutes, many fake meme tokens appeared, all claiming to be the official meme currency of Myanmar. At least one of them, called #MYANMAR , collapsed by 95% almost immediately after its launch.
