Airdrop details:

  • Total rewards: 8% of the new IOST L2 tokens (1,705,600,000 IOST), equivalent to about 10 million USD at current prices.

  • Eligibility: Must hold IOST on the IOST L1 mainnet or on IOST strategic partner exchanges.

  • Distribution:

    • Distribution for IOST L1 holders: 852.8 million: This portion will be allocated to holders based on IOST L1 snapshot data. Additionally, stakers will receive extra rewards based on 'staking duration weight'.

    • Distribution for exchange holders: 852.8 million:Distribution will be based on the proportion held by IOST holders participating in this airdrop cooperation exchange.

  • Supported exchanges: Officially partnered exchanges will be announced in the coming weeks, please pay attention to IOST official announcements. Exchanges may also directly release announcements, so please follow the exchanges' official notices!

Selection method

IOST L1 snapshot airdrop:

  • This distribution will be rewarded based on the IOST balance holders had at the time of the snapshot.

  • The reward amount will be determined based on the holdings in the user's wallet. Based on staking duration, rewards can be as high as 1.5 times.

Exchange holders:

  • The claiming process will be determined by the regulations of each major exchange, and we are collaborating with well-known exchanges to provide holders with a seamless airdrop experience.

  • Airdrop distribution will be proportionally allocated based on the total IOST holdings of the exchanges participating in this airdrop cooperation.

  • Multiple exchanges will participate in this IOST airdrop, with 4% of the quota being proportionally distributed based on the total IOST held by these airdrop cooperation exchanges.
