SBF Criticizes Biden and Seeks Pardon from Trump
FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, who was sentenced to 25 years in prison, gave his first major interview from behind bars, accusing the Biden administration of waging a political battle against him—despite his financial support for the Democrats.
He also endorsed Elon Musk’s plan to reduce the size of the federal government and, for the first time, openly backed the Republican Party. Meanwhile, his parents are actively seeking a pardon from Donald Trump.
Additionally, SBF claimed that FTX faced a liquidity crisis rather than bankruptcy and could have repaid its customers. However, according to him, lawyers forced him to file for bankruptcy, delaying payouts and creating a negative public image.
