SEC Acknowledges Series of Crypto ETF Filings

The regulator is seeking comments on filings related to staking, options, and altcoin ETFs, among others.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has acknowledged about a half-dozen filings related to cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) in the past two days, according to regulatory filings dated Feb. 19 and 20.

The filings, submitted by exchanges Nasdaq ISE and Cboe BZX, concern proposed rule changes for crypto ETFs covering staking, options, in-kind redemptions, and new types of altcoin funds, the filings show.

The SEC’s acknowledgments underscore how the agency has softened its stance on crypto since U.S. President Donald Trump began his second term on Jan. 20. As a result, two crypto index ETFs were launched in February and analysts expect more ETF approvals to follow in 2025.#LTC $LTC
