$LTC

Litecoin (LTC) is one of the longest-running cryptocurrencies, created in 2011 by Charlie Lee as a faster alternative to Bitcoin. It has a block time of 2.5 minutes, compared to Bitcoin's 10 minutes, allowing for faster transactions. Its mining algorithm, Scrypt, is designed to be more accessible than Bitcoin's SHA-256. Litecoin has a maximum supply of 84 million coins, four times that of Bitcoin. It is often used for payments due to its low fees. Additionally, it was one of the first cryptocurrencies to implement SegWit and Lightning Network, improving efficiency and scalability.
