The cryptocurrency brokerage FTX began payments to its former clients who were harmed by the exchange's bankruptcy on Tuesday, the 18th. In November 2022, FTX was the second largest brokerage on the market, but it ended up collapsing, leaving thousands of users without their funds.
According to the company, payments will occur in phases. The first part involves reimbursement for investors who had less than US$50,000 in their exchange account. They will receive the amount at the time of the bankruptcy plus an additional 9% in interest.
