The story of Marscoin began exactly at this moment four years ago.
In a discussion about whether a new coin should be launched, the topic revolved around getting Dogecoin investors to reduce their DOGE holdings to help DOGE become more decentralized in the long run. CZ responded:
“This is necessary, can we call it Marscoin?” (meaning that large DOGE holders should sell some of their DOGE to buy Marscoin).
Elon Musk directly confirmed:
“There will definitely be Marscoin.”

Subsequently, CZ posted two more messages about Marscoin on his Twitter (now 𝕏) account:
1. “It looks like we’re going to have Marscoin. It’s inevitable in the long run.”
2. “Can I get credit for the Marscoin name? Although maybe Elon has thought of it a long time ago. It’s not a big problem now because it doesn’t exist yet, but imagine the situation in 200 years.”

Can a small idea give birth to a crazy memecoin?
Do you remember the story of Shiba Inu or Floki? From a few simple tweets, the community autonomously created these memecoins and pushed their market cap into billions of dollars.
This reflects the fact that any unique idea may give birth to a memecoin, and the strength of the community will determine how far it can go. As the community grows, larger institutions, such as exchanges or large investment funds, tend to provide support at a later stage.
Many people can't help but wonder: Will Marscoin be the next phenomenal existence? Is it a "prophecy" four years ago that is gradually becoming a reality?
This question is not without basis. The following points deserve attention:
• The concept of “Marscoin” involves Elon Musk and CZ, two of the most influential people in the crypto market. If you think about it carefully, this is actually a memecoin concept with great potential.
• Dog, cat or other animal memes may already be stories from the last market cycle. In the meme race, people are always looking for new and more attractive narratives.
• In fact, multiple Marscoins have been created and are being traded on the market.
So, will Marscoin become the next legend in the crypto market?
Binance is gradually paying attention to memecoin.
If you’ve been paying attention to the crypto market lately, you’d have noticed that Binance is seeing an increase in interest in memecoins.
TST, originally just an experimental token, was “accidentally” mentioned in a post by CZ introducing the Fourmeme platform. As a result, its market cap quickly soared to $400M and was soon listed on Binance.
CZ started a "dog race" for the community to participate in, and a large number of memecoins named Broccoli emerged. I think that among these Broccoli tokens, the one with the best quality and most solid community has the potential to be listed on Binance in the future.
Interestingly, a meme token called Marscoin has recently emerged on the Fourmeme platform that CZ recommended before and has attracted nearly 4,000 holders. You can check it out on GMGN.

As of the time of writing, the meme token $MARS has a market cap of $2.8M (its previous peak was $6M).
So, does this Marscoin really have a chance to become the Marscoin that CZ mentioned 4 years ago?
Did CZ really see the future?
I don’t think so. Marscoin is just a meme concept that originated from a bold suggestion made by CZ to Elon Musk.
Today, Marscoin has been created and has attracted nearly 4,000 holders, and the price has also risen. This means that the more people believe that CZ's prediction will come true, the higher the probability that Marscoin will become a great memecoin in the future.
Maybe this will happen, maybe not. But that’s how memecoins work — they often start as a small idea, and as more and more people believe in them, they grow into a crazy market phenomenon (like Bitcoin and Dogecoin).
CZ didn’t really predict the future, but he inadvertently gave birth to a memecoin on BNB Chain. As for where it will eventually go, it all depends on the consensus and promotion of the community. Who knows? Maybe at a higher market value stage, Binance will also join in.
So, should you buy Marscoin now?
This is a question that no one can answer for you. Instead of asking this question, you might want to think about it from another perspective:
“Should I join the community and help make CZ’s Marscoin concept a reality?”
I think there are a lot of people out there who really want this to happen, and even CZ himself might be supporting the idea.
Just a few days ago, CZ left a “praying” emoji under a picture of a T-shirt with the Binance logo and the MARS code printed on it. This could be a hint that he silently supports the idea.

Additionally, Binance Chain and Yi He also changed the geolocation of their 𝕏 accounts to Mars. This may be their implicit support for the idea we are discussing.

So, buy it or not? This is entirely your decision, no one can make the choice for you. It may be a right decision or a wrong decision.
I personally like the meme concept so much that I already bought some (luckily I discovered $MARS early).
