#RideTheKaiaWave is a revolutionary initiative launched by the Kaia Foundation, a merger between Kakao’s Klaytn blockchain and LINE’s Finschia. Its goal is to bring Web3 technology to millions of users in Asia through integration with popular messaging platforms such as LINE and KakaoTalk. Through the Kaia Wave developer support program, Mini Dapps can reach over 200 million users on LINE messenger, enabling a seamless Web3 experience within their favorite messaging app.
In December 2024, the Kaia Foundation is launching the #RideTheKaiaWave campaign with a total prize pool of $10,000 in KAIA tokens. Participants are invited to create original content sharing ideas for Mini Dapps they would like to see on LINE messenger. The campaign aims to foster collaboration between the developer and user communities, and enrich the Web3 ecosystem in Asia.
In addition, in November 2024, the "Ride the Kaia Wave: Bangkok Edition" event was held as a side event of Devcon 2024. The event brought together leading projects, founders, and developers from across Thailand to explore collaboration opportunities on LINE's Web3 platform powered by Kaia.
