Have you ever thought how "incredible" and desperate it would be if Satoshi Nakamoto somehow programmed $BTC to self-destruct upon his death? With the death of the greatest legend in the crypto market, his greatest creation would also die. The incredible thing I'm referring to is how it was programmed to be, it would certainly generate a catastrophe never seen before, making the 1929 crisis seem like something small. The death of $BTC would be something that would lead to the fall of several nations, companies and billion-dollar empires. The cryptocurrency market would fall along with its main currency, an unprecedented crisis caused by the death of the same person who practically founded this market. Of course, this is extremely unlikely, being just a daydream of my mind. So there is nothing to worry about, this market is still safe and tends to be increasingly reliable. And yes, I know that Satoshi Nakamoto can also be a pseudonym for a group of people, in which case the theory applies to the death of the last member of the group. 

Don't worry, this is just a "joke", or rather, a daydream of something extremely unlikely to happen hahaha.
