The Pi Network Open Network phase will officially launch on February 20, 2025, at 8:00 AM UTC, marking a major step forward in Pi Network's evolution. This transition from the Enclosed Network phase will introduce external connectivity, public node participation, and expanded utility for Piโs native token.
With this milestone, Pi Network moves closer to its vision of creating a peer-to-peer ecosystem powered by Pi. The platform has already achieved notable progress, including over 19 million verified Pioneers, 10.14 million Mainnet migrations, and more than 100 Mainnet-ready apps.
Key changes expected with the launch include:
External Connectivity: Pi will be able to integrate with external blockchains, businesses, and exchanges.
Public Node Access: Anyone can run a node on the Pi Network Mainnet.
