ETF expert analyst James Seifart stated that there are currently multiple altcoin ETF applications submitted, including SOL, DOGE, LTC, and others. However, he warned not to be overly optimistic at this time; although the XRP ETF may be approved in 2025, other cryptocurrencies' ETFs may be approved first, with Litecoin being specifically mentioned.

The ongoing SEC lawsuit involving XRP claims that the cryptocurrency is a security, preventing it from obtaining ETF approval. "More work needs to be done in this area, while Litecoin does not require that." Therefore, the LTC ETF may potentially be launched before the XRP ETF.
