FALSE EUPHORIA 🚨 I was surprised when I recalculated simple math. 🤯
If a coin costs $10, drops by -30%, and then "recovers" by +40%, it seems like it has even grown more than it fell. But here is the real calculation:
📉 Drop of 30%: $10 → $7
📈 Growth of 40%: $7 → $9.8
Result: the price is still below the initial one, although the percentage of growth is higher than the percentage of the drop.
💡 What does this mean? When the market turns green, many think that the assets have already "played back" the drop. But if you look at the actual numbers, not percentages, you can notice that the price hasn't even returned to previous levels.
This is the euphoria trap that many fall into. We see +50% and think that the coin has already grown significantly, although in reality, it's just a partial recovery after a failure.
📌 Conclusion: before celebrating the numbers, do the math and check the actual price levels. 🚀 $BTC $SOL
