Whether you're new to cryptocurrency or an experienced trader seeking a simpler version of the Binance app, Binance Lite is a great option for buying, selling, and converting crypto.
What is Binance Lite?
Binance Lite is a streamlined version of the Binance app, designed to provide essential information with a clean, easy-to-use interface. It can be especially helpful for users with low-quality internet connections or older devices. To access Binance Lite, simply tap the top left corner of the home screen, where you’ll see "Binance Lite" at the bottom.
How Binance Lite Works
Upon opening Binance Lite, you’ll find a list of cryptocurrencies displayed on the home screen. You can filter this list by various criteria, such as market cap, price trends, or popularity.
To view a coin’s price trend, tap on it, and you’ll see a simple candlestick chart. You can adjust the time period to see the trend over different timeframes. At the bottom of the page, you'll find essential details and news about the selected cryptocurrency.
In addition to basic trading, Binance Lite also offers Binance Earn products to help grow your cryptocurrency holdings.
How to Buy Crypto on Binance Lite
Step 1:
Choose the cryptocurrency you want to buy. For example, if you want to buy BNB, tap on BNB. You’ll see a page with a trend chart, current price, and other details about the coin. In the bottom right corner, click on ‘BUY.’
Step 2:
Enter the amount you wish to spend on BNB and tap ‘BUY’ again. Choose your payment method and tap ‘CONFIRM.’
Step 3:
Review your order details, including how much BNB you’ll receive. Follow the seller’s payment instructions to complete the transaction. Once payment is made, take a screenshot and tap ‘Transferred, notify seller.’
Step 4:
After the transaction is confirmed, you’ll find the BNB in your portfolio.
How to Sell Crypto on Binance Lite
Step 1:
Tap ‘Portfolio’ in the bottom right corner to view your assets. Select the crypto you want to sell.
Step 2:
On the page that appears, you’ll see your transaction history and balance. Tap ‘Sell’ at the top. Enter the amount you wish to sell and tap ‘Sell’ again at the bottom.
Step 3:
Choose your preferred method of receiving fiat currency and finalize the process. Once you’ve received the payment, check your account to confirm, and then release the crypto.
