Duties, sanctions and blockades between the US, China and Europe are only harming citizens. The trade war between the United States and China increases the prices of goods and technology, while the boycott of Russian gas has led Italy to pay double, purchasing it indirectly from third countries. These political choices only penalize families and businesses, without real strategic advantages. Instead of hindering each other, nations should collaborate to reduce costs and promote development. Competition is healthy, but when it becomes a senseless economic war, the real loser is always the population.
