💰 World Liberty Financial Transfers Hundreds of Millions USD in Crypto

The DeFi project World Liberty Financial (WLFI) – alleged to have ties with former President Donald Trump – has just executed a massive transaction: transferring over 250 million USD in Ethereum (ETH), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), and many other tokens from a multi-signature wallet on Monday.

📢 However, the project asserts that they are not selling assets, but are only managing the treasury and paying operational costs.

🚀 On X (Twitter), the project wrote:

"We are only conducting regular transactions to manage the fund, pay costs, and meet working capital needs. To clarify, we are not selling tokens but merely reallocating assets."

🧐 Treasury Wallet from 400 Million USD Down to 90 Million USD

🔍 According to data from #ArkhamIntelligence , before February 2, WLFI's treasury wallet had over 400 million USD in assets. But after this transaction, the figure dropped to less than 90 million USD.

📌 The two most withdrawn assets are:

✅ Ethereum (ETH): Withdrawn 168 million USD

✅ Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC): Withdrawn 64 million USD

💡 Most of the funds were transferred to unidentified addresses. However, the majority of the ETH has been transferred to Coinbase Prime – the brokerage platform for institutional investors of Coinbase. This has led many to speculate that #WLFI may be selling assets.

🔄 Reallocation Move – Strategy or Sign of Dumping?

📆 This is not the first time the project has asserted they are not selling tokens. On January 14, WLFI also made a similar statement. But just a week later, they made headlines by purchasing over 100 million USD in crypto, including 47 million USD in ETH and WBTC, as a way to celebrate Trump becoming the 47th President of the United States.

📌 Besides ETH and WBTC, WLFI also transferred many other tokens such as:

🔹 Aave (AAVE)

🔹 Ethena (ENA)

🔹 Movement (MOVE)

🔹 Chainlink (LINK)

🔹 Ondo (ONDO)

🏛️ What Role Do Trump & Family Play in the WLFI Project?

🔸 World Liberty Financial is still in the process of selling WLFI tokens, with over 1 billion tokens available at a price of 0.05 USD each.

🔸 This project is inspired by Donald Trump, who is now referred to as the 'Chief Crypto Advocate.'

🔸 Trump's sons – Donald Jr., Eric, and Barron – are also listed as 'Web3 Ambassadors' of the project.

🔮 Could This Be a Smart Plan?

✅ If WLFI's claims are true, then this is just an internal asset reallocation move, not significantly affecting the market.

❌ But if the project is indeed selling off, it could put downward pressure on ETH, WBTC, and related assets.
