During the New Year days, shorting is still the way to make money. Out of 1 million, 900,000 was made by shorting. Going long has resulted in losses. I arrived at my hometown on the 29th, and now it's the 5th, a total of seven days.
That day, after catching a whiff of the Ethereum bull, I opened an Ethereum position but couldn't hold it and ended up with a loss.
I opened a breakout trade with spicy strips, and after three rebounds to my cost, I didn't exit; instead, I stopped out.
All the others were short positions; yesterday I opened ETH and SOL shorts with this week's profits and haven't exited yet, each at 5x leverage.
I just closed the SOL and ETH shorts from last night as well.
Thinking about it, this week's market is actually crap; there aren't really any coins worth going long on. Chasing breakouts is just oscillation. Bottom fishing just leads to endless bottom fishing.
Out of 17 trades, there are 8 short positions, and these 8 shorts earned 120,000 USDT, while the remaining less than 10,000 is from going long.
It's really a bit of a crap market. #比特币四年周期将改变?
