The integration is carried out through the Taproot Assets protocol, developed by Lightning Labs with the collaboration of the open source community. This protocol leverages Bitcoin’s Taproot upgrade to introduce a more efficient, scalable, and decentralized solution for stablecoins within the ecosystem of the most important cryptocurrency in the world.
