The head of the European Central Bank Lagarde said that they will not buy BTC as a strategic reserve asset of the EU. In a nutshell - because#BTCis unreliable:
"We will not buy BTC as a strategic reserve asset of the EU. National reserves must be liquid, reliable and safe"
