#微策略持续增持BTC AI Arms Race Escalates! DeepSeek Accused of Stealing OpenAI Technology, U.S. Involvement?
Silicon Valley is facing a new AI controversy. Chinese artificial intelligence company DeepSeek challenges OpenAI with low-cost AI models, and reports have emerged today alleging that these models utilize data from the ChatGPT developer. OpenAI and its key partner Microsoft are investigating whether DeepSeek has illegally used OpenAI’s proprietary data to train its models, which could not only violate OpenAI’s terms of service but may also constitute intellectual property (IP) theft.
Rise of DeepSeek Raises Alarm
DeepSeek has rapidly emerged as a strong competitor in the AI field, reportedly training its models at a cost far lower than OpenAI. While OpenAI invested over $100 million to train GPT-4, DeepSeek seems to have found a way to significantly reduce costs while still providing competitive AI performance.
