Today, January 29, 2025, the Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate decision will be published, the Central Bank of the United States. The data will be released at 2:00 PM Washington DC time, something that could impact the prices of financial assets, including bitcoin ($BTC ).
The market expects that the interest rates will remain the same as now, at 4.5% per year, which would be the first unchanged decision after three cuts. These cuts were made in December, November, and September, after remaining fixed for more than a year at 5.5%, their highest level in two decades.
