#币圈的2025挑战赛我的Hold之旅 The 2025 Challenge in the cryptocurrency market, my hold journey

In fact, my connection with the cryptocurrency world was established back in 2017. At that time, I naively bought EOS with a few hundred dollars, purely because I heard others mention that BTC's future price would break $100,000, and as a non-renewable resource with a limited supply, its prospects were broad. However, due to being in debt at that time, the pressure of life left me no time to delve into the cryptocurrency field, and those EOS were forgotten in a corner like stones sinking into the sea.

After conducting in-depth research on the situation in the cryptocurrency market and various projects, I decided to allocate most of my funds to Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), the two mainstream cryptocurrencies. I understand that mainstream cryptocurrencies have higher liquidity and stability in the market. Although their price increases may not be as rapid as some emerging altcoins, the risks are relatively lower, making them a stable foundation for my holdings. At the same time, based on my risk tolerance, I also selected some altcoins with moderate market capitalization, strong technical strengths, and practical application scenarios, such as PEPE, DOGE, and SOL, hoping to achieve higher returns as they grow.

However, the process of holding positions is not always smooth. The volatility in the cryptocurrency market is extremely high, often experiencing significant fluctuations of 5% to 20%. A slight 5% fluctuation in Bitcoin can lead to even larger fluctuations in other altcoins, ranging from 5% to 20%. I remember one time when Bitcoin suddenly plummeted by 10% in a short period, causing the entire market to panic. The altcoins I held dropped like an avalanche, with prices plummeting. Watching my account balance shrink dramatically filled me with anxiety and fear. At that moment, I even began to doubt whether my investment decisions were correct and whether I should cut my losses in time to prevent further losses.

But I know well that investing in cryptocurrencies is a long-term game, and short-term fluctuations do not represent the true value of a project. As long as the fundamentals of the project do not change, I should hold on firmly. Therefore, I continuously learn and research, keeping an eye on industry trends, policy changes, technological developments, and other information, striving to improve my investment skills and psychological resilience.

In the ups and downs of the market, I gradually explored an investment strategy that suited me. I adopted a method of buying and selling in batches to avoid taking full positions at once. When market conditions are uncertain, buying in batches can lower costs and prevent heavy losses due to being stuck at high prices; selling in batches can lock in profits and prevent missing out on subsequent upward trends due to early selling. At the same time, I set reasonable profit-taking and stop-loss points based on my investment goals and risk tolerance. When the price reaches the profit-taking point, I decisively sell to secure profits, avoiding excessive greed that leads to profit reversal; when the price falls below the stop-loss point, I also sell decisively to stop losses, preventing further losses.

As time passed, the market gradually warmed up. Bitcoin began to rise steadily, and the altcoins I held surged like bamboo shoots after rain, experiencing explosive growth. Some altcoins increased several times in the last month of the bull market. Although I did not sell at the highest point, I still achieved considerable gains through reasonable asset allocation and investment strategies.

Looking back on this year's hold journey, I have many feelings. In this field filled with opportunities and challenges, I experienced fear, anxiety, and confusion, but also gained growth, joy, and wealth. I deeply realize that investing in cryptocurrencies is not just a financial game but also a test of one's understanding and mentality. Only by continuously learning and improving, enhancing my investment skills and psychological resilience, can I survive in this market and achieve success.
