Thank you, thank you, thank you very much. Thank you very much. Vice President Vance, Speaker of the House Johnson, Senator Thune, Chief Justice Roberts, and the justices of the Supreme Court of the United States.

President Clinton, President Bush, President Obama, President Biden, Vice President Harris, and my fellow citizens, America’s Golden Age begins now.

From this day forward, our country will once again prosper and be respected around the world. We will be the envy of every nation and stop allowing ourselves to be exploited.

Every day of the Trump Administration, I will put America first.

Our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our security will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced. And the vile, violent, and unjust weaponization of the Justice Department and our government will end.

Our first priority is to create a proud, prosperous, and free nation. America will soon be greater, stronger, and more exceptional than ever before.

I return to the presidency with confidence and optimism that we are at the beginning of an exciting new era of national success. A wave of change is sweeping across this nation, shining brightly across the world, and America has an opportunity as never before to seize it.

But first, we must be honest about the challenges we face. And while they are many, they will be crushed by the great momentum we are witnessing in America.

As we gather today, we face a crisis of confidence in our government. For years, an aggressive and corrupt system has extracted power and wealth from our citizens, while the pillars of our society are broken and appear to be in total disrepair.

We now have a government that is unable to respond to even simple crises at home, while being embroiled in one catastrophic event after another overseas.

It fails to protect our brilliant, law-abiding American citizens, while providing shelter and protection to dangerous criminals, many from prisons and mental institutions, who enter our country illegally. We have a government that funds unlimited defense of foreign borders, while refusing to protect America's borders, or, more importantly, its own people.

Our nation is already unable to provide basic services during emergencies, as recently demonstrated by the wonderful people of North Carolina who were treated so poorly. And several other states are still suffering after hurricanes that hit just a few months ago.

Or more recently, in Los Angeles, we're watching fires that are still burning relentlessly. They started a few weeks ago, sweeping through homes and neighborhoods defenselessly, even affecting some of the wealthiest and most powerful people in our country, some of whom are sitting right here right now. They're already homeless. It's interesting.

But we can't let this happen. Everyone is powerless. This is going to change. Our public health system is powerless to help in times of disaster, yet we spend more money on it than any country in the world.

Our education system teaches our children to be ashamed of themselves and, in many cases, to hate our country even though we try so desperately to offer them love. All of this will change starting today, and it will change fast.

My recent election was a mandate to overturn a terrible betrayal and all of those betrayals, and to give back to the people their faith, their wealth, their democracy, and even their freedom.

From this moment on, America's decline is over. Our freedom and our national destiny will no longer be denied, and we will immediately restore the integrity, competence, and loyalty of the American government.

Over the past eight years, I have faced more trials and challenges than any President in our 250-year history, and I have learned a great deal in the process. The road to taking back our Republic will not be easy, I can tell you.

Those who wish to hinder our cause are trying to deprive me of my freedom and even take my life.

Just a few months ago, an assassin's bullet whizzed past my ear in a beautiful field in Pennsylvania. But I felt then, and I know now even more, that my life was for a reason. I was saved by Providence so that I could make America great again.

Thank you, much appreciated.

That is why, under our government of American patriots, we will work every day to respond to every crisis with dignity, strength, and resilience. We will act with purpose and speed to bring back hope, prosperity, security, and peace to citizens of every race, religion, color, and creed. For the citizens of the United States, January 20, 2025 is Liberation Day.

I hope that our recent presidential election will be remembered as the greatest and most impactful election in our nation’s history.

As our victory shows, the country is rapidly rallying behind our agenda, with surges in support across nearly every segment of society: young and old, men and women, African Americans, Hispanics, Asian Americans, urban, suburban, rural. And, very importantly, we won strongly in all seven battleground states. We also won the popular vote by millions.

To the Black and Hispanic communities, I want to thank you for the tremendous outpouring of love and trust you gave me through your votes. We set a record, and I will never forget it.

I heard your voices during this campaign, and I look forward to working with you in the future. Today is Martin Luther King Day, and in his memory -- and it will be a great honor -- we will work together to make his dream a reality. We will realize his dream.

Thank you.

National unity is returning to America, and confidence and pride are at an all-time high. In all we do, my administration will be inspired by an unquenchable passion for excellence and an unrelenting commitment to success. We will not forget our Country. We will not forget our Constitution. We will not forget our God. Can't do that. Can't do that. Can't do that. Can't do that. Can't do that.

Today I will be signing a series of historic executive orders. Through these actions, we will begin the full restoration of America and the common sense revolution. This is all about common sense.

First, I will declare a national emergency at our southern border. All illegal entry will cease immediately, and we will begin sending millions of criminal aliens back to where they came from.

We will restore my Remain in Mexico policy. I will end catch and release. And I will send the military to our southern border to stop this catastrophic invasion of our Nation.

Under the order I signed today, we will also designate our drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations. By invoking the (Alien Enemies Act) of 1798, I will direct our government to use the full tremendous power of federal and state law enforcement to eliminate the presence of all foreign gangs and criminal networks within the United States, including in our cities and inner cities.

As Commander in Chief, I have no higher responsibility than to protect our nation from threats and invasions, and that is exactly what I will do. And we will do it at a level never before seen.

Next, I will direct all members of my Cabinet to mobilize the vast powers at their disposal to defeat record inflation, caused by massive overspending and rising energy prices, and to rapidly reduce costs and prices.

That's why today I will also declare a national energy emergency. We will "drill, baby, drill."

America will once again be a manufacturing nation, and we have something that no other nation has, the largest quantities of oil and gas on earth, and we will tap into it. We will drive down prices. We will drive down inflation. We will drive down prices, fill our strategic reserves to the brim again, and export American energy around the world. We will once again be a wealthy nation, and it is the liquid gold beneath our feet that will help make that happen.

By my action today, we will end the Green New Deal, we will rescind the electric vehicle mandate, save our auto industry, and fulfill my sacred promise to the great American autoworkers.

Thank you. In other words, you will be able to buy the car of your choice. We will once again build cars in America at a rate no one could have imagined just a few years ago, thanks to the vote of confidence given by our nation's autoworkers. We earned their vote. I will immediately begin a comprehensive overhaul of our trading system to protect American workers and families. We will not tax our citizens to benefit other countries.

To this end, we are establishing an External Revenue Service to collect all duties, taxes, and revenues. This will bring large amounts of money from foreign countries into our coffers.

The American Dream will soon return and thrive like never before. To restore capacity and efficiency to our federal government, my administration will establish a new Department of Government Efficiency.

After years of illegal and unconstitutional restrictions on free speech by the federal government, I will also sign an executive order to immediately stop all government censorship and restore free speech to America.

I know full well that the vast power of the state will never again be weaponized to persecute political opponents. We will not allow that to happen. It will never happen again.

Under my leadership, we will restore a fair, equal, and impartial justice system under the constitutional rule of law. We will bring law and order back to our city.

This week, I will also end government policies that attempt to socially engineer race and gender in every aspect of public and private life. We will build a society that is not based on the color of your skin, but on your merits.

From today on, official U.S. government policy will recognize only two genders, male and female.

This week, I will reassign and give full back pay to all service members who were unjustly discharged for opposing mandatory COVID vaccines.

I will sign an order prohibiting our warriors from subjecting themselves to radical political theories and social experiments while on duty. This will end immediately. Our armed forces will be freed to focus on their sole mission: defeating America's enemies.

Just as in 2017, we will once again build the most powerful military the world has ever seen. We will measure our success not only by the battles we win, but by the wars we end and, perhaps most importantly, the wars we never enter.

My proud legacy will be that of a peacemaker and a unifier. That's what I want to be, a peacemaker and a unifier. And I'm pleased to say that as of yesterday, the day before I took office, hostages in the Middle East are returning home to their families.

America will reclaim its well-deserved position as the greatest, most powerful, and most respected nation on Earth, inspiring awe and admiration around the world. In the not too distant future, we will change the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, and restore the name of our great President William McKinley to Mount McKinley, where it belongs. President McKinley made our country very wealthy through tariffs and his talents. He was a born businessman and gave Theodore Roosevelt the money to support many great things he did, including the Panama Canal, which was foolishly given to Panama after the United States spent unprecedented amounts of money and lost 38,000 lives in its construction. We have been treated very badly for this foolish gift that should not have been given. Panama’s promises to us have been betrayed. The purpose of our transaction and the spirit of the treaty have been completely violated. American ships have been grossly overcharged and not treated fairly in any way, including by the U.S. Navy. On top of that, China is operating the Panama Canal. Instead of giving it to China, we gave it to Panama. We will take it back.

Most of all, my message to the American people today is that now is the time to act once again with the courage, energy, and vitality of the greatest civilization in history. So that as we liberate our nation, we will lead it to new heights of victory and success. We will not be stopped.

Together, we will end the chronic disease epidemic and keep our children safe, healthy, and disease-free. America will once again see itself as a growing nation - one that increases our wealth, expands our territory, builds our cities, raises our expectations, and carries our flag to new and beautiful horizons.

We will pursue our manifest destiny and reach for the stars, sending American astronauts to Mars and planting the Stars and Stripes on Mars.

Ambition is the lifeblood of great nations, and right now our nation is more ambitious than any other. No nation can match ours. Americans are explorers, builders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and pioneers. The spirit of the frontier is etched in our hearts.

The call of the next great adventure resounds in our souls. Our American forefathers transformed a small group of colonies into a powerful republic with the most extraordinary citizens on earth. No nation can match it.

Americans have traveled thousands of miles through untamed wilderness. They have crossed deserts, climbed mountains, braved countless dangers, won the West, ended slavery, saved millions from tyranny, lifted billions out of poverty, harnessed electricity, split the atom, propelled man into the heavens, and placed the universe of human knowledge in the hands of man.

If we work together, there is nothing we cannot do and no dream we cannot achieve.

Many thought it impossible for me to stage such a historic political comeback. But as you saw today, I did it. The American people have spoken.

I stand before you now to prove that you should never believe that something is impossible. In America, the impossible is what we do best.

From New York to Los Angeles, from Philadelphia to Phoenix, from Chicago to Miami, from Houston to here in Washington, D.C., our Nation was forged and built by generations of patriots who gave their all for our rights and freedoms.

They were farmers and soldiers, cowboys and factory workers, steelworkers and coal miners, policemen and pioneers who kept moving forward, forging ahead, and not letting any obstacle defeat their spirit or their pride.

Together they laid railroads, built skyscrapers, constructed great highways, won two world wars, defeated fascism and communism, and triumphed over every challenge they faced.

After all we've been through together, we are about to embark on the greatest four years in American history. With your help, we will restore the promise of America, and we will rebuild the country we love.

We are one people, one family, and one glorious nation under God. So to every parent who dreams for their child, and every child who dreams for the future, I am with you, I will fight for you, and I will win for you. And we will win like never before.

Our nation has suffered greatly in recent years, but we will rise again and make it great again, better than ever before. We will be a nation like no other, one of compassion, courage, and excellence.

Our power will stop all wars and bring a new spirit of solidarity to an angry, violent and utterly unpredictable world.

America will once again be respected and admired by people of all religions, beliefs, and good will. We will prosper. We will be proud. We will be strong, and we will prevail like never before.

We will not be conquered. We will not be threatened. We will not be defeated. We will not fail. From this day forward, the United States of America will be a free, sovereign, and independent nation. We will stand bravely. We will live proudly. We will dream boldly.

Nothing can stop us, because we are Americans. Because we are Americans. The future belongs to us. Our golden age has just begun.

Thank you, and may God bless America, and thank you everyone.
