Meme Coins are not Halal , and they are forbidden and Haram for reasons:
1. High speculation (gambling): Meme coins heavily rely on manipulation and speculation without any real value or project backing them, making them akin to gambling.
2. Lack of real assets: These coins are often without genuine backing or a clear economic project, which is a fundamental condition for making investments permissible in Islam.
3. Manipulation and fraud: Many meme coin projects are associated with high risks of fraud (rug pulls), where the coin founders withdraw liquidity suddenly after the price rises.
4. Ambiguity and uncertainty: Islamic law prohibits excessive uncertainty (gharar) in transactions, which applies to meme coins due to their lack of transparency and unclear future.
