Tether exec buys $1.7 million in El Salvador real estate and becomes citizen
According to ChainCatcher, Tether executives are spending large amounts of money to purchase El Salvador real estate and become citizens of El Salvador.
Chief Financial Officer Giancarlo Devasini, CEO Paolo Ardoino and Chief Operating Officer Claudia Lagorio purchased two parcels of land valued at $1.7 million in the luxury golf resort Condominio Villanueva Golf Country Club and the residential area El Encanto. The deed shows that Ardoino and Lagorio are naturalized citizens of El Salvador.
