Hello to all newcomers.

I am new to crypto (a few months), I am writing this post to give you some advice on how not to lose money stupidly (my beginner's mistakes).

1-When you exchange one crypto for another, the price displayed on the course will not correspond to the amount received, because there is slippage (margin of price slippage during the transaction), which will be done on both cryptos.

For example, I exchanged 1000 usdc for aptos, I received about the equivalent of 980 dollars in aptos, yet the price had not moved.

2- You have to add the transaction fees which are 0.1% on binance.

3- If you use binance wallet, some cryptos can have a much higher slippage (sometimes 10% or more).

4-On binance wallet, always make sure to select the right address and the right network, you will lose the entire amount of the sending, and going back will be impossible.

5-On wallet, if a crypto interests you, make sure to select the right cryptos by checking on the official website of the token in question, the right address and the right network, because many fake cryptos try to copy the official crypto (example, you will find many aiz16 tokens on solana, but only 1 of its tokens is official on the solana blockchain, all the others are used to scam you).

6-Do not stupidly follow speculative upward trends.

7-Avoid making exchanges as much as possible, because it will be less fees, in the end, it can climb very quickly.

8-Bitcoin influences all cryptos, if btc increases, all other cryptos are pulled up, and vice versa.

When btc increases by 10%, some cryptos can go up by 40% or more, but as soon as btc decreases, they can go down just as quickly, or even more.

Btc is the reference value, if you are not in a hurry, Invest in bitcoin, because there is a good chance that it will increase in the future.

I hope my advice will be useful to you.
