Research Predicts Dogecoin Will Reach US$1 This Year

Galaxy Research predicts that Dogecoin (DOGE) has the opportunity to make new history in 2025. According to Galaxy Research Analyst Alex Thorn, DOGE's value is expected to soar by 170% from its current price, breaking through US$1 for the first time.

If this prediction comes true, Dogecoin's market capitalization is projected to reach US$100 billion. In line with that, Galaxy Research Analyst Charles Yu predicts a major change in the dominance of the *stablecoin* market.

Tether (USDT), which has been leading, is expected to lose market share to below 50% due to competition with high-yielding *stablecoins* such as Ethena (USDe), and Circle (USDC).

Yu explained that platforms like Coinbase that provide incentives on USDC balances could shift Tether's dominance. This prediction shows the dynamics of the crypto market that continues to develop towards the future.
