The recent volatile market has been really tough, and many newcomers might have just entered the market not long ago, only to encounter significant drops and consistent declines. At this point, with the November gains retracting, one starts to feel that those floating profits should have belonged to them. Then the regret sets in 😫 for not selling at any point in time, thinking maybe to wait for a rebound...
But, the decline continues, eventually getting trapped, then comforting oneself that as long as they hold on, it will eventually come back. However, seeing others gain while their own investments keep dropping 😭 causes immense internal turmoil, leading to a portfolio switch in hopes of quickly recovering losses. This often results in another significant loss...
Being severely trapped without a short position, after painfully cutting losses and exiting, it turns out to be at the bottom, and the market starts to rise slowly... One feels like they are being targeted by the major players, and their mind starts buzzing 😵💫
This is not laughable; it's all part of the journey we took. Even K Ge cannot completely avoid this. So what should we do? 👇🏻
For example, BGB:
1. Start entering the market in July, make a plan! Accumulate on red days.
2. Increase positions at important support levels; for example: 1.5 at the beginning of the month, set limit orders in advance 💯 for perfect position increases.
3. For low-probability events, black swan or major negative news. Choose strong rebounds and prepare a phased plan;
In a volatile market, with no major changes in fundamentals, maintaining a position ratio that allows oneself to be trapped without too much psychological pressure is a good coping strategy 🙅♀️ Don’t easily fall into the dopamine trap.
In the early stages, with an orange capital advantage, adopt 0 orange capital holding 🫴🏻 Mid-term phased entries with profit-taking is key! Don’t use positions that are hard to bear to gamble on a 10% profit margin; larger positions should pursue opportunities with higher certainty.
