I will write about my impressions; maybe someone will find it interesting.
I came here recently, it seems in September; initially, I had a few hamsters earned from a game that I was asked to play.
At first, I just logged in and checked how much money I had, while reading what was being said here. Then I started depositing small amounts and trying to trade. At the beginning, I bought a bit of #TON#DOGE and some familiar #HMSTR. Then a bit more #xrp and other coins.
At some point, I began to feel that I understood how cycles work, I sold most of my coins with a small profit and started waiting for a decline, but it didn’t happen. I thought I had made a mistake and I bought all the same coins again, but a bit more expensive. In principle, my forecast turned out to be correct, and after some time I could have bought everything cheaper than I sold, but I lacked patience. However, at that time the market was rising, and I still ended up in profit, but less than I would have if I had followed my original plan.
Then the decline began.
At first, I just watched how the price of coins changed. Then I noticed that this process is not linear and periodically some coins rise. Now, when I see that a coin has risen, I sell about a quarter and use the proceeds to place a buy order at a lower price, and another quarter I place for sale at a higher price. If the buy order is triggered, I remove the sell order; if the coin rises and the sell order is triggered, I place another quarter for sale at a higher price, and I place a buy order for the total amount of sold coins and adjust the price.
So far, this works. You don't earn much like this, but the experience is interesting and, as it seems to me, useful. It works best for me with #xvg and #HBAR, slightly worse with #TON #XRP #W and #fio, with #doge, #lunc, #neiro it doesn't work at all, but I hope they will grow. I also think it's not worth doing this with a large number of coins; I forget the price at which I sold, and I have to dig into history. I think it’s best not to have more than three positions.
Overall, I hope there will be growth and that everyone will be fine.
I do not claim to be a serious analyst; I just decided to share my impressions; perhaps someone will find this interesting.
