The number of cryptocurrency users worldwide has reached a record high with 18.7 million daily active users in December 2024. In Vietnam, more than 16.6 million people own cryptocurrency, accounting for about 23% of the population, making Vietnam the second highest in the world in terms of cryptocurrency ownership. This increase reflects the growing trend of cryptocurrency adoption, with projections that the number of users could reach nearly one billion by 2024.
