Many of us are currently looking negatively at the current situation of the crypto market. This is one of the times when some people lose everything, others the value of the portfolio has decreased significantly, and those who had a nose for it reap profits from shorting. In this post I would like to show you that all is not yet lost and quite a long way ahead, probably with many bumps and holes but as much as possible to overcome and check in at the finish line in 2025.
TWO months, is it a lot ? From a general perspective, rather not. However, when we consider the last 2 months in the world of cryptocurrencies, it is a very long and interesting period. For most, almost like an eternity. Why two months ? Well, exactly two months ago 10.10.2024, at the same time as this entry I decided to conduct a certain test. Motivated by the recent dip in the market at the time, and hoping for a positive direction in which the market was heading, I sent a few hundred $ to another exchange. The test, or more precisely the test of my nerves and conscientiousness, consisted of placing a few long positions, on a few random coins + a few coins chosen by me. The range of leverage levels for the positions varied, and the financial contribution was constant - exactly $25 each. In total, everything was worth about half of the allocated capital, the other part I left, as a margin. The next step was to disable the stock market app and uninstall it from my smartphone memory. In order not to be additionally prone to FOMO, I didn’t note down the prices at which the positions were opened. I planned to know results and end the experiment on the last day of this year... However... I'll admit that I didn't make it, as I did it today, motivated by the current situation, similar to that of October 10 I want to visualize to you, what it is to wait and hit the market opportunity that is coming, and not to brag about luck and profit, as some will think.... That is why this post was created. Without boring you further, it's time to get to the point. .
Below screenshots taken moments ago of all positions, even 2 months since they were opened and in this currently crisis situation we are experiencing today. Checking the peak prices of these assets from a few days ago, some of them were worth several times more ;) So I leave it to you to judge and, above all, to draw your own conclusions, and I will end this entry with the old and fitting proverb, "The less you know, the better you sleep”.
