AMAZON: proposal for $29 billion investment in $BTC
🚀A group of Amazon shareholders, based on research from the National Analytical Center for State Policy Research in the USA, has approached the company's Board of Directors with a proposal to diversify assets. The essence of the proposal is to invest approximately 5% of assets, equivalent to $29.3 billion, in Bitcoin.
💥The justification for the proposal is based on concerns about the devaluation of Amazon's large cash reserves ($88 billion in cash and equivalents). Analysts point out that the current strategy of holding significant amounts in highly liquid but low-yield assets does not provide sufficient returns for shareholders.
👏As an argument, the superiority of Bitcoin's yield over corporate bonds over the past year is presented. Bitcoin has demonstrated a growth of 131%, significantly outperforming the average growth of corporate bonds (126%).
