💼 SEC vs Solana ETF: hopes crushed, but memes remain! 🫣
If you were waiting for a spot ETF based on Solana, the news... is not great. 😅
👩⚖️ What happened?
🦹♂️ The SEC decided to reject all five applications for the launch of exchange-traded funds based on Solana. FOX Business journalist Eleonora Terret stated that with this administration, no new crypto ETF will pass. No-way! 🙅♂️
They should have submitted 10 applications, then one would have been accepted 😄🤪
🌩️ Why is that?
Apparently, Solana seemed too "altcoin-y" (read: too risky) for the SEC. Instead, they will go down the "bitcoin path" again and will consider applications in bulk — but clearly not now.
Interesting 🤔, how will Solana behave after all this? 📌 But I definitely know that with such a pile of memes, it won't be boring for her 🙄
