MicroStrategy Buys (Again) Bitcoin (BTC)
This is the type of announcement that now seems commonplace because it has become so recurrent. In a Form 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), MicroStrategy announced a new massive investment in Bitcoin $BTC .
Indeed, the company purchased no less than 15,400 bitcoins, for a total of approximately $1.5 billion. These purchases took place between November 25 and December 1, and were realized at an average price of $95,976 per unit.
In order to make this investment, MicroStrategy carried out a significant sale of shares during the last week of November.
