🇹🇷 NFT platform Enjin has moved over 200 million NFTs from Ethereum and its sidechain to its Enjin Blockchain. More than 118 million NFTs hosted on Ethereum and over 101 million NFTs hosted on the Ethereum sidechain called JumpNet were transferred to its mainnet called Enjin Blockchain.
🔗 In June, the NFT platform announced that it was creating its own blockchain. Enjin said the new network is embedded into the underlying code of the blockchain with NFT-focused features, such as NFT transfers and copyright applications.
🔄 With the transition, users will experience a few changes such as built-in royalties and a new feature called “Fuel Tanks” that subsidizes gas fees for users. According to the statement, the platform will use this feature to offer free transactions to users in its ecosystem for three months.
🎮 On December 6, executives working in the gaming industry spoke on the future of blockchain gaming and highlighted several catalysts for Web3 adoption in gaming. Bartosz Skwarczek, founder and CEO of G2A Capital Group, said that improvements in accessibility and user interfaces will attract a wider range of players to Web3.
🌐 Rene Stefancic, COO of Atlas Development Services, which contributed to Enjin Blockchain, said that turning to a different blockchain could allow Web3 to reach the "global market of three billion players."
