#Polygon is making a big move on September 4th! The $MATIC token is getting a major upgrade and will be replaced by $POL.

If you hold $MATIC on Polygon PoS, you don’t need to do anything—your tokens will automatically switch to $POL. For those with $MATIC on Ethereum, zkEVM, or CEXes, you’ll need to use a migration contract or a DEX aggregator to make the switch.
