Many friends have sent me private messages and comments asking me how to find the information of the project owner and the deployer. Today I will share this common basic operation, which is suitable for beginners. Old players can ignore this tutorial. This is my first time writing. If there are omissions and deficiencies, please correct me.

How to find the deployer's twitter?

  • Tools used: I usually use http://geniidata.com for monitoring. For new projects that appear on the chain, I will first find the wallet of the deployer. Take THE•RESISTANTS as an example, enter the project information page, click on the rune avatar,You can see the project's deployment wallet address. Then search for this address on Twitter to see if the deployer has left a message about the wallet address. If yes, check if he has released other projects before, and you can find more key information. (The reason is mainly that during the inscription period, many people who participated in other projects left their wallet information, but now the Chinese entrepreneurial projects on the chain are much smarter, and all the exchanges transfer funds to new wallets for deployment, so it is more difficult to query.)

  • On-chain query: If the deployer wallet address cannot be found on Twitter, you can use the block browser http://mempool.space to query the interaction records of the deployed wallet. For example, check the source of the first fund, or check whether the wallet address of the early interaction is related to the project party. Or when you first start playing, you can also check the wallet addresses in the front row. In the early stage, it is usually the project party itself, because he needs to trigger the pending to the chain to display the rune, so check the front row addresses to see if the rune has been transferred and what is the connection between the addresses.

  • How to find the project's Twitter?

(Generally, to find the project's Twitter, you just copy the rune name and search it on Twitter. But if you see a good project in the early stage and don't want to wait for others to find it and release it before the gas price has increased by 1-2 times, then try the following method, which can sometimes be used to search in advance.)

  • Keyword search: Take THE•RESISTANTS as an example, delete the symbol in the name, and then search for the keyword "RESISTANTS" in the Twitter user list. You can also check the media column to find related pictures (Figure 4).

  • Join the community: Join more Rune communities, such as Telegram groups, WeChat groups, Discord groups, etc., because sometimes group members may find it faster than you. Here I recommend the Telegram group of Mumu: @0xmmu. The first pinned link is the invitation link.

  • Although some projects have a lot of reserves, they seem to be related to blue chip runes. When you can't guess whether the on-chain project is deployed by the blue chip project party itself, you are wavering whether to play or not.

What to do? The simplest way is to directly enter the community channel of the blue chip project. Generally, there is no need for the project to hide anything. For example, in last week's MOM•SAYS•IM•CUTE project, I found that the deployer's Twitter said that he was a member of the blue chip Sparky Runedog team. At first, I thought it was Sparky deploying new runes. If so, then this MOM•SAYS•IM•CUTE will definitely be a project that can get some meat. But when I entered the DC, I saw that others asked community members and they all said they didn't know, which means that the project may be just released by an individual. Then the probability of this kind of rise is hanging.

Summarize

In fact, I always use the most stupid method to find more possible information. Sometimes I still get nothing after the whole process, but I still continue to do this when I see projects with opportunities, because once you have more information than others, even if it's just a little bit, the project's grasp will naturally have an extra layer of chance of winning. Now, not only is the rune circle flooded with a bunch of junk projects, but there are also many sol and ton applets and games. I saw a lot of newcomers rushing to the rune entrepreneurship disk some time ago, and I feel it is necessary to remind everyone to do less and watch more, and protect your funds. This tutorial is only the first stage of judging whether the project party's background is reliable. The advanced ones also depend on the project party's narrative, marketing style and other dimensions. I also hope that everyone can share better methods, learn and improve together, and welcome the real rune explosion period in the future. Finally, I wish you all to achieve financial freedom as soon as possible.
