Borsa Istanbul withdrew today after M. Şimşek's statements. So how should we read this?
- Since it is expensive for foreign investors in dollar terms, the index withdrawal is somehow achieved.
- The possibility of the dollar exchange rate going up is getting stronger
If they buy the stock market down and the exchange rate up, it becomes much cheaper in dollar terms and becomes an attractive stock market for foreigners. I think they want to provide this.
