Trump’s May 20 pledge to quickly end the Iran conflict just kicked off the first wave of crypto short liquidations ($184M+ wiped out in 24h, mostly $BTC ). With $9B+ in short leverage stacked overhead versus thinner long liqs below, any clean push higher has serious fuel.
Key level to watch, a decisive break above $80,889 (channel top + Fib 0.618) should cascade shorts toward $83.9k.

I had a short idea planned around the 79k area, but USDT is making this less clean right now.
6H RSI is still showing potential momentum continuation, and if that follows through, it could invalidate the short setup completely.
We’re not in the zone yet, so no reason to force it.
For me, it’s simple: let price get closer to 79k, then watch the LTF reaction. If sellers show up cleanly, the short is still valid. If price accepts and momentum continues, I step aside.
